B6 Audi Q7 Armored SUV

The Audi Q7 luxury SUV is the newest addition to IAG's armored vehicle line up. Audi offers a wide range of engine configurations, with two variants of the 3.0L V6 gasoline engine (272hp/400NM or 333hp/440NM), a 4.2L V8 diesel engine (340hp/800nm), as well as a top of the line 6.0L V12 turbo diesel engine (500hp/1000NM). Mounted to an automatic Tiptronic transmission and Audi's renowned Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the armored Audi Q7 provides a high level of performance that will enable the driver to evade any dangerous situation. The vehicle interior has a seating arrangement for up to 7 occupants and features a wide range of features such as LED lighting, multi-media entertainment system, and top of the line multifunctional climate control system.

Using the same armoring principles used in the independently certified armored Convoy® SUV, the IAG armored Audi Q7 is capable of defeating both ballistic and blast threats. With armoring configuration available up to the CEN B6 level, the vehicle will protect the occupants from high powered rifles, including multiple impacts from 7.62 and 5.56 NATO ammunition, as well as, 7.62x39mm AK47 rounds. The armoring incorporates features such as ballistic overlaps at all door openings to ensure the occupants are protected from angled shots. During the event of an explosion our full overlaps prevent the vehicle doors from being blown inward; the blast moves over the vehicle rather through the vehicle doors. In addition, the runflat tires enable the driver to continue operating the vehicle in the event of a tire puncture and evade the area.
