HID-Compatible Card Reader and Module

ProxTech’s newest product is a HID-compatible card reader and module that will read the standard 125 kHz HID cards or equivalents.

The readers give out this data over their integrated Wiegand interface.

TREND: a HID-compatible reader

The TREND is a low-budget card reader that supports the standard 125 kHz HID transponders. The reader gives out this data over the Wiegand interface. A bi-colour LED and buzzer make this a very versatile reader for those applications where the HID technology is already in use. With a read range between 50 and 100 mm, this reader can widely be used in a great variety of applications and installations.

TREND-MOD : a small-sized reader module to read HID cards

TREND-MOD is a small and cost-effective HID-compatible module for integration in new or existing projects already using the 125 kHz HID-technology.With this module, the widely used HID technology can easily be integrated in any kind of terminal. Or you can simply use it to make your own reader by placing it in a reader housing of your own design. The standard antenna supplied with each module offers you a comfortable read range of up to 50 mm. But you can always link the module to an antenna of your own making to bring the reader module exactly up to your requirements.
