Hybrid iGuard® DVR-kit brakes barriers
IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH is launching its new version of the successful i...
The latest version of the iGuard® video surveillance PC-Kit offers a harmonic combination of existing and future surveillance technology. A double security for your customers: Video surveillance and safe investment.

The hybrid surveillance solution is combining classical analogue video surveillance and modern IP technology. The customer can use reasonable priced standards wherever it is possible and high resolution details wherever it is necessary.
Starting with version 2.57 iGuard supports the full resolution of network cameras up to mega pixel resolution, e.g. the Mobotix M10. Getting details when it is essential or replacing two standard cameras by a high resolution network camera - it goes along hand in hand with the existing installation.

The second new feature of version 2.57 is the floor plan option.
iGuard and iGuard RemoteView now have the possibility to show the positioning of cameras, alarm devices and alarm outputs by means of a floor plan. In the Remote View mode a server spanning delineation offers you the administration of affiliates and subsidiaries as well as multiple buildings within the same remote session.

Due to its standard PC based architecture, it is possible to fulfil the needs of the customer as close as can be. It is not necessary to make a compromise between missing features and paying not required features. And iGuard grows with the customers needs. An expansion up to 40 analogue and 16 IP cameras at one single iGuard server is possible.

A stable system and easy handling with the need of special training guarantees the user interface. The orientation at Microsoft design standards offers a familiar look-alike of the configuration window, so it is as easy as working with other Windows based programs.
And when we talk about a stable Windows system – when did you have your last Blue screen on your PC?
iGuard offers also an Active-X interface. The interface allows direct connection and integration to third party software, e.g. facility management platforms. The three requirements for a useful surveillance system are defined by IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH, the manufacturer of iGuard as follows: Modular, flexible and open!
