Innovative Alarm Monitoring Software is TETRA Compliant

interVIEW, the world's most flexible alarm handling software is now compliant and certified for the Danish TETRA network called SINE.

The Danish authorities invest billions of Danish Kroner in a new TETRA based communications system named SINE. With this new system, the authorities benefit from a common encrypted digital communication used in disaster recoveries, rescue works and others.

interVIEW- the powerful software for Alarm Receiving Centres has recently become compliant and certified for the Danish TETRA network.

The integration between interVIEW and TETRA consists of three types of interfaces:

• MotoLocator for GPS positioning of TETRA communication devices
• Short Data Router (SDR), to send and receive secure encrypted messages
• Computer Aided Dispatch Interface (CADI) to receive status and emergency information

With this new integration, the Danish authorities take full advantage of all capabilities of their new digital radio network. The alarm handling platform interVIEW display GPS positions from TETRA units using the GSM/UMTS network. Encrypted messages as well as status information are sent between interVIEW and the TETRA units.

TETRA Alarm Receiving Centre

The solution is flexible and scalable and offers the Danish emergency management agencies to handle their own alarms in combination with the TETRA communication system. An Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) can handle all alarms at night and use other ARCs for back up purpose.

This solution is ideal for a group of municipalities in the same region.
