B6 Mercedes Benz ML Armored SUV

IAG would like to present the armored Mercedes Benz ML.  This armored luxury SUV is available in the ML 350, ML 500, and the ML 63 AMG models, equipped with the 3.5L V6, 5.5L V8, or 6.2L V8 gasoline engines (respectively).  These high output engines are mounted to a 7-speed automatic transmission and 4WD drivetrain. With such high performance specs, the armored Mercedes ML enables the driver to rapidly evade any potential attacks.

The IAG Mercedes Benz ML can be armored up to the CEN level B6 standards, rated to protect the occupants from ballistic threats up to the 7.62x51mm NATO rounds, as well as, different blast threats such as grenades and IEDs. 

During the event of an explosion our Smartarmor technology is designed to withstand the explosive force due to its single piece design.  Minimal weld points throughout the armor minimize the risk of fragmentation entering the cabin; larger single pieces of armor throughout the armored vehicle provide exceptional strength and protection. 

As part of IAG’s design, the vehicle maintains the Mercedes Benz OEM appearance even after armoring to enable ourclients to keep a low profile during their day-to-day activities.  The high quality fit and finish of the original vehicle interior is also preserved.

IAG also upgrades key vehicle components as a standard feature to properly support the additional weight of the vehicle to improve handling and braking characteristics, as well as, significantly increase the durability and reliability of the vehicle.  Run flat tires are also installed to allow the vehicle to be operated in the event of punctured tires.
