International Armored Group has developed an armored mobile bank unit.

With many of the world’s most developed countries beginning to experience slower growth, emerging markets, such as China, India, and many parts of Africa, have attracted much investment from many companies, both local and foreign. This in turn has created demand for all types of banking and finance services.

Unfortunately, some of these needs are often located in hard to reach or remote areas, making the traditional brick-and-mortar banking strategy both infeasible and unprofitable. As a solution, International Armored Group has developed an armored mobile bank unit that maintains all the features, comfort and convenience of a brick-and-mortar bank while offering complete mobility.

Based on a truck chassis, the mobile bank is powered by a turbocharged diesel engine through all four wheels by utilizing its 4x4 system. This enables the truck some off-road capabilities, allowing the unit to reach more remote regions, while still maintaining excellent on-road ride quality.

Ballistic Protection

The vehicle can be fully armored from CEN level B4 to B6, depending on the model and need. It is strong enough to withstand weapons ranging from the AK-47 up to the M-16 and FAL. It features a custom built rear box with two large rooms and a lavatory.

Each room has its own automatic climate control, wall outlets, lighting system, armored windows, acoustic and thermal insulation, vinyl flooring and professionally styled walls, in addition to many other amenities that would normally be found in any bank branch.

Mobile Bank Interior

The first compartment, the supervisor and conference room, features a wood-top conference table, luxurious chairs, lockable metal storage cabinet and wall outlets to power a computer and printer. This room has been designed such that it emulates a conference room found in a bank. Employees will be able to sit down comfortably with their clients and conduct business as usual, with no compromises.

The second compartment, the teller’s room, has chairs and tables for two tellers, seats for two guards and sorting table with a mobile fridge. Two teller windows are installed facing an outside platform, such that clients can interact with a teller face to face and access the bank’s services in a manner no different from any other branch. For clients looking to make simple cash transactions, an ATM machine is installed in the rear of the vehicle, accessible from the outside.

Safety is taken very seriously for this vehicle. Each compartment is separated with a partition wall and vault-style type doors with high security locks. Security cameras, with live recording and viewing capabilities, are installed throughout the inside and outside the vehicle offering a complete, 360⁰view. The camera system can be set up such that remote viewing is possible. In addition, gun ports, live satellite vehicle tracking, money safe/vault, and internal visual and acoustic emergency alarms are available as options.
