Betafence protects industrial buildings, public infrastructure and highly sensitive sites all over the world. Its headquarters are located in Belgium and it has 13 production sites in 11 countries. Sales offices are active throughout the world.

The company has experience of more than 100 years in developing, producing and supplying specific solutions for perimeter solutions and protection. Starting from the risk assessment and the definition of the security levels to the delivery and installation of the complete project, the most appropriate solution for each situation will be developed by our teams.

Temporary Security Fencing

Construction sites, road works, large public events, disasters,…a large number of events require temporary fencing.  Temporary, but not without specific requirements as to quality and efficiency.  That is the reason why Betafence has developed its range of  Tempofor® mobile fences, easy to install yet meeting the severest safety standards.

Thanks to a whole range of accessories, these fences can be used in the most diverse applications, both for sale and for rental purposes.

Industrial Security Fencing

Betafence offers a wide range of industrial security fencing to suit a range of applications.

Welded mesh panels, such as the Nylofor®  panel system responds perfectly to the dissuasion needs. It combines strength and longevity. Nylofor is a total system with panels made from heavy welded mesh with rectangular meshes, posts and gates.

The Betafence industrial security fencing range also includes a very large assortment of fences reaching as high as 6m. The Securifor® range wears the crown in the delay category. This total system contains heavy, high security panels and two types of posts. These fences are difficult to destroy or climb because of the small mesh and heavy wire diameters.  At the same time they offer excellent visibility (essential for camera surveillance) and a long lifetime.

Security toppings: Optional single or double, bent or straight arms make climbing almost impossible.  According the specific security need, the arms can be equipped with panels, barbed wire or razor tape.

Perimeter Solutions - Project Engineering

Betafence studies and develops tailor-made perimeter solutions based on a total approach, through the knowledge of local customs via local partners. This approach results in careful customer guidance and follow up using all the skills within the Betafence organization (engineering, sales, production, quality, logistics).

All communication and interaction is coordinated by our specialists. Integration and installation of all the necessary components is handled by our project team (fences, gates, access control, detection, cameras, electronic components, software, etc… )

Automatic Access Gates

All  the Betafence fencing systems can be completed with access control components such as: automatic access gates, sliding gates (cantilever or on rail), single or double swing gates, manual, automatic or semi-automatic turnstiles, manual or automatic barriers. Bekamatic® is the brandname for reliable cantilever.

Access control and detection are crucial in Betafence’s security concept.  Allowing access to persons and vehicles to the site (or not), but also detecting, identifying and keeping out unwanted intruders, makes it possible to know who or what is located within the perimeter at all times. This ranges inlcudes manual and automated gates, turnstiles and barriers.

Intrusion Detection Systems and Deterrence

Systems for detection, access control and deterrence are a part of active security.  Detection systems must trace any form of unwanted breach of the fence within the delay period.

Additional electronic components such as an acoustic alarm, security lighting and camera surveillance also have a deterrent effect. Visual monitoring is an efficient method of access control on condition that the desired fencing does not obstruct visibility by creating blind spots.
