Mayflex is a specialist distributor of physical security and cabling solutions for the security and communication markets. We supply and support the cables and active equipment necessary to run communications, CCTV and security systems from the simplest coax or twisted pair based system, through to full fibre optic solutions.

Copper Infrastructure and Security Products

Mayflex focuses on two key areas, infrastructure and security. Within each of these we have strategic, long-term partnerships with carefully chosen manufacturers, selected due to product quality, reliability and performance.

Copper Structured Cabling Systems

Our extensive range of twisted pair cables including Category 5e and Category 6 products, are ideal for IP based short distance CCTV installations, or access control applications. Our twisted pair cables are available for use both internally with PVC and low smoke outer sheath materials. Our external grade cables with heat and moisture-resistant polyethylene sheaths are perfect for camera installs.

As one of the UK’s largest supplier of coaxial cables we offer a broad range of cable manufactured to the highest specification, RG, URM and CT style with choices of colour, reel size, PVC or LSOH jacket. We also stock a range of composite cables with power and control cables combined with coaxials.

Fiber Optic Infrastructure and Cabling

Mayflex offer an extensive range of fiber optic network infrastructure cables, connectors and accessories, from standard cabling to armoured versions. We have over 200 styles of cable assembly available from stock. To complement these products we also offer customers every type of termination method, Pigtails, Amp Light Crimp and 3M Hot Melt.

If you are faced with limited time available onsite for installation or are involved in rapid deployment projects, such as disaster recovery, then a pre-terminated solution is well worth consideration. Pre-terminated products are available in Multimode OM1, OM2, OM3 and Singlemode OS1, loose tube and tight-buffered multicore cables from 4 to 24 core. Choose from ST, SC, LC, FC and MTRJ connectors.

Network Wall Cabinets: 600mm, 800mm, 1000mm

Our range of cabinets and enclosures include network wall cabinets from 6u to 21u in a choice of 390 or 500mm deep and floor cabinets from 12u to 47u in a choice of 600mm, 800mm and 1000 depths. With a range of power distribution units, shelving and ventilation accessories, Mayflex have the solution for all of your network equipment mounting and storage requirements.

Copper Transmission – Twisted Pair and Fiber Optic

We offer a range of copper transmission products for both copper and fibre optic systems from GE Security, AMG and Excel Guardian. Products include simple point-to-point links through to high order video, audio and data multiplexers and a range of standalone to rack mount units.
