Iris Recognition System

LG has been active in Iris recognition research development and production since 1997, and effectively spearheaded commericailizatrion fo Iris recognition technology with its IrisAccess platform, which is now in its third generation. In 2002, LG Electronics US-based Iris Technology Division assumed global responsibility for all operations, marketing and distribution for the LG’s Iris recognition business. Developed under a technology license from Iridian Technologies, LG’s IrisAccess platform is the leading deployed Iris recognition system in the world found in nearly nearly two thousand installations in public and private sectors on six continents
