Noptel Oy has been in operation since 1982, specialising in the area of optoelectric measuring devise design and manufacture. Applications for this technology include rugged military operations and industrial services.

The most successful product in the Noptel range is the shooting training and analysis system. Over ten thousand of these units have been supplied to more than sixty countries around the world, to a variety of markets which include:

Shooter Training System

Personnel are able to train from basic level through to advanced with Noptel's shooter training system. The system's design allows practice to be conducted in a class room or range (indoors & outdoors) helping to train personnel in real-to-life conditions. Nighttime shooting practice is also possible.

The shooter training system itself has a portable set up, allowing training to take place at the earliest convenience, in any location. The lack of live fire also means that usual safety precautions associated with shooter training do not apply.

Users own, scaled, conventional, pop up or moving targets are all compatible with the system without the necessity of a wired or electric connection. The system, in its simplest form, will operate by placing a small reflector on a target and an optical transceiver on the rifle.

Because the shooter training system is so versatile, it can be set up in practically any location. Facilities such as classrooms are best suited to the basic marksmanship training program, whereas, an outdoor shooting range is perfect for more advanced training.

By designing the system to operate outside, provides an invaluable level of training. Users can practice with typical target distances and conditions using moving, electronic or pop up targets. Field training also provides the opportunity to train in a team, focusing on manoeuvring and situational skills.

Shooter Training Equipment

The ST-2000 Expert is Noptel's most recent addition to their shooter training equipment range. This rifle training unit is operational in distances ranging from 10 to 300 metres and has a pneumatic recoil system for recoil and semiautomatic reloading.

Working along with the ST-2000, is a portable LED target which flashes a light signal when the user has made a successful hit. Results are collected from this system using NOS Pro software.

Noptel's shooter training equipment range contains a series of products to enhance the training experience. Among these is the ST-2000 MilTrainer, a reliable tool for training levels basic through to advanced, which is compatible with users own conventional targets for use indoors and out. The trainer uses NOS4 software and has the same range capabilities as the ST-2000 Expert.

NOS Software

Noptel's successful shooting training and analysis systems are only possible due to their NOS software. This provides users with invaluable information about each training session instantaneously. Key factors, such as hold, aim and trigger control, that are paramount for excellent marksman shooting, are analysed by the software and displayed in a visual/numeric guide.
