Intelligent Quality of Service for Tactical IP Networks

The PacketAssure is a family of high-performance switching systems that provide comprehensive Quality of Service (QoS) for all communications traffic. New priority applications and users are emerging on both secure and non-secure networks, creating IP traffic management requirements and policies that are outstripping the capability of IP routers and the skill level of technical users.

The PA iQ ensures application delivery that meets mission objectives while utilizing a customizable user interface. As the mission objectives change, the PacketAssure can continue to give administrators consistent, end-to-end control of the service priorities.

Built for extended reliability and simplified operation in tactical environments, PacketAssure iQ applies powerful, multi-layer traffic management to improve bandwidth utilization over constrained transmission links.  

The PacketAssure iQ is ideal for secure applications where the need to prioritize various levels of encrypted traffic flows is paramount.

Fiber Protocol Converter

DNE also offers the CV-MCU2 NRZ/CDI/Fiber protocol converter with the highest number of 20Mb conversions in a 1-RU chassis. The CV-MCU2 chassis can be configured with different conversion modules depending on the network requirements.

In addition, a multiplexing software option allows the user to mux 2, 3, or 4 ports onto a single aggregate, allowing consolidation of field traffic for efficient transport to a remote site. The CV-MCU2 also provides the greatest interoperability of any media converter on the market.

Avionic Sensors and Controllers

Ultra Electronics-DNE Technologies also manufactures a variety of avionic sensors, ice detectors and controller devices for various military fixed wing aircraft.  Avionic sensors and controllers are available for the F-16, the F-18, and the F-22, as well as the A-10 and the B-1 and P2 programs.
